The Newton Fitness PL-50 Leg Press Commercial Black Series is the heaviest leg press in our range and is also suitable for commercial use. The leg press uses Olympic weight plates as a counterweight, so you can put a heavy load on the device. The leg press is rock solid and is sufficient in areas such as personal trainer studios, hotels, small gyms or in the training room at home when you are looking for the very best.

Construction

With its weight of 245 kg and oversized construction, the leg press is rock solid and fits perfectly in a commercial space. The PL-50 Leg Press is a good exercise for training the thigh muscles and can often be performed heavily; a heavy construction of the device benefits the stability during training.

Large foot platform

The large foot platform allows you to place your feet in different positions. This allows you to emphasize the quadriceps or just the hamstrings and glutes and vary in training. You can grab the handle on the top of the footplate so you can get on and off safely.

Olympic sleeves

The PL-50 uses Olympic weight plates as a counterweight. On the left and right of the device you will find extra long sleeves of approx. 38 cm on which the Olympic weight plates can be placed and which makes it possible for the device to be heavily loaded. Below the backrest of the device you will find 2 shorter sleeves, on which you can store a number of Olympic weight plates.

Luxury cushions

The extra thick cushions provide comfort during every workout and reduce the risk of back pain. Moreover, this ensures that the cushions are suitable for intensive use.

Unlock System

To unlock the weight, you will find a handle on each side right next to the seat, with which you can unlock the weight and you can perform your workout. When you're done with the exercise, or you want to lower the weight again, it's very simple rotate the handles toward you to rest the weight on the rubber mounts. A handy system to let you train safely.

Non-skid profile

A plate with a profile has been placed in front of the seat on the aircraft. This in combination with the handle on the top of the large base plate, ensures that you can safely sit on the device and also safely get off.
